PROGRAMMING

Season 1 is a 7.5 month ballet, art, and community experience

The Ballet Salon is cultivating a community of dancers who are thinking of their return to ballet as a full and thoughtful creative practice. Our program will be anchored by professionally taught weekly company class, exclusive intermediate-level ballet classes taught by a resident teacher as well as our choreographers. Our classes will be a space to re-fall in love with movement, reconnect with your body, and be surrounded by supportive familiar faces each week. Come as you are, and we’re excited to help you grow.

Our monthly artist salons will be a chance to gather together and create a shared space for inspiration and conversation. These gatherings will feature inspiring guest speakers– professionals exploring ballet through lenses such as writing, design, and academia. We hope these salons will not only be a way to connect further with each other, but also a way to celebrate the many ways in which the art form of ballet can continue to inspire or inform our work, creative practices and critical thinking.

Mid-way through Season I, The Ballet Salon will also function as a choreography incubator! We have invited three incredible New York-based choreographers to make unique works on the dancers of The Ballet Salon, which we will ultimately perform at a live show in October 2026.  Our Season 1 program will run for 7.5 months (from March 2026- October 2026) and our final show will celebrate the choreography, conversations, and projects our dancers and collaborating artists have created together during this time.
